Very cool you took French too! I took French in HS. I read French better then write it. Speaking it is a challenge with a southern accent too....lol! :D Some Spanish, but that's because of where I live. Spanish is a prolific language in southern USA.

Some nursing home facilities have bad reputations in the US, particularly the state funded facilities. It's really sad. My great aunt (RIP) passed away in one of those facilities suffering from very poor care.

Um....skating is instinctive when you've trained for many years, no matter how old you are...so I wouldn't be bumping into people, I would be speeding by them and taking over the ice, but now that I'm older I'm more polite and understand the concept of training for the younger people that need...

It's been awhile since I've skated. We had several ice storms in January and February and I was all set to skate but it was just too cold this year. I don't recall great tricks on my skateboard except for popping off a curb and maybe flipping back and forth and that spin thing with the board...

Any animal can turn on you and sometimes you don't expect it, even the nice ones. The thing about animals as they are keen on your fear. If I was to hold a little critter, I'd just wear gloves. I had a guinea pig bite me once though in my palm and yet, I was the hand to feed it. :p

Children do tend to emulate their parents and I can look at generations of families that tend to vote the same way, so I get what you are saying about politics may not fit in that "box".

An example, if a child is pushed to go to church all of their youth, what happens when they leave home...do they rebel, some do. Your quiz on political awareness is an intriguing way to gauge a person's ability to vote. I get that....I'm not sure I was totally politically aware until I was 18.
