Would you join in contributing to help someone that was once very rich and famous?

My stance on this might sound controversial but I won't contribute a penny to help someone that was very rich at a point in their lives. We have seen celebrities that were once world beaters getting broke and needing a Go Fund Me. I believe people should be financially responsible.

Would you join to contribute for such a person?

If I know that the person didn't fall from riches as a result of extravagant lifestyle, I would contribute to help such a person. One bad luck situation can make a person fall from riches.

If the person was rich, famous and arrogant, and crashes from wealth to become poor, I won't contribute a dime to help him or her. If it was a wealthy person that usually gave back to society, I would stretch to contribute for him or her in the event that they fell from riches.

If I contribute for him, who will contribute for me?. I would rather focus on building so I wouldn't crash as well. The truth is that most people spend their money helping others only to discover that they're broke and even the people they spent their resources on couldn't offer any help.
