It's difficult to say things online being an American, cause everyone online isn't American. Do you feel the same way? How can this be dealt with on forums etc.?

Ive noticed as an implant to the USA from Scotland, that Americans tend to think America is the center of the world. Yet most Americans I've met are some of the least travelled least versed in other cultures, people that I have ever met. Americans need to realize that theres a whole world outside of just the USA. You are NOT the police of the world America!

Maybe they've never left the US. Anyway, I was watching this video about Russia and many people there didn't seem to know much of the outside world. Well, it's probably the case that a great lot of people in all countries are not well versed in international things, but there is also a minority that is.
