How to start coding?

I'm looking for information on how to start coding since it's something that a new into, so I will be looking at getting any tips from anyone that is knowledgeable in the field.

I'd check out videos by Bro Code. They are free and he has an easy to understand and colorful style. Has anyone else seen his stuff?

YouTube is always a great place to start when it comes to things such as learning to code. I have in the past learned a lot when it comes to coding just by searching and finding informative videos

Videos are good but must be matched with practice. However, many languages need a special interface and Python is one of those. Has anyone tried it?
