How much does music help with your spiritual journey?

While it's true some say music aids in living a life of sin, the opposite is also true. In fact, the music can help get thru those tough times where it's tough to be a good person. Do you all think so? What helps you?

Music has nothing to do with spiritualism, at least for me. I do not listen to devotional songs and I do not sing hymns. However, I use music to lift my spirit, or mood to be precise. When I am feeling sad and dejected, I listen to music and make myself happy. You do not become spiritualist just for listening to music

Depending on the type of music I am listening to, it helps me meditate and in most cases connect. There are things I might not have an answer to, but when I listen to certain music, it helps me.
