Are government assistance takers lazy and/or corrupt?

I don't have an issue with people being on assistance when needed. But there are far too many people actually living on assistance for life and thats just wrong. People want to work for their money and earn an honest wage for the most part but there is a section of society that just want to leach off the rest of us.

How can you be sure, though, that they can't work? For instance, if someone cannot get along with others due to medical reasons, that puts them at risk for any job, aside from work at home, and not everyone is qualified to do that. Myself, I'd say most using government assistance for life have serious handicaps.

Yeah i mean if they have serious disabilities then thats what the system is there for. To protect people like that. But the system will collapse because you have probably 50% of those on government assistance with absolutely nothing wrong with them other than a negative disposition to hard work.

There's a huge victim mentality with much of the population. It's definitely a weak take-on life. A lot of people are held back in life because of it and not whatever excuse they have. Anyway, think about it, why is it that all these Latinos from El Salvador and whatever are doing all this hard work, but people here don't notice the paradox? I mean, I'm not commenting on what I think of illegal immigration, but certainly we might need to entertain the fact that macho people are brought in to replace the un-macho. :giggle:
