What Are You Thinking About Right Now?

I ended up later watching 13 Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. It's an interesting movie if you haven't seen it. I have a very serious problem with being able to sleep fast. I have partial insomnia and it's getting worst by the day.

    Weekend Plans?

I would have gone for a good swim tomorrow but unfortunately I had a nasty cut today which almost took one of my left fingers, so my swimming plans have been cancelled. I will just stay home watch movies and probably EPL tomorrow too.

    Solved There's no REPORT Button?

@fords8 I have seen the report button now. I was on my mobile browser and not in desktop mode in the browser that's why I couldn't see the report. I will go ahead to trace back and report the post I wanted to report. You can mark this question as answered now. Thank you 😊.

    Solved Problem with uploading images

It looks like there's a problem the extension that allows for images to be uploaded on the forum. I had to look for a workaround to be able to upload picture in my last post and here too. Most people wouldn't know how to get a workaround. Please look into it. View: https://i.imgur.com/QlC9RHN.jpg

    Debate HQ BS Topic

You have never took a lot of mixed drinks otherwise you will surely get drunk. I can remember when I took Amarula cream liqueur, Smirnoff vodka and beer the same day, I was knocked out.

Do you find the voting process really worthy your time?

When they abuse the voting process by allowing kids to vote just to rig elections, how can I have trust in the electoral process? You will waste your time and energy all for nothing because your vote won't still count. View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joty0UT4NKI

    Are books better than television?

It depends on what's good and better for you to learn from. If it's more easier for you to learn from reading books, that's what you should do and if it's better for you to learn from watching TV, that's the path you should follow. But generally for academic purposes, books are what you're...

    Does homework benefit children?

Of course yes, it's very important to give kids or in fact all students homework assignments to do everyday. It's something that's going to get them to study more about what they were taught in the school everyday and it's going to help improve their understanding on the subject. I would be...

Should children be paid to go to school?

Imagine getting manipulated by your kids to have them go to school by having to pay them? This is one of hilarious things that I have read online today. I don't care if you want to go to school but if you expect me to pay you before you go to school and get the knowledge that's going to help you...

Will we see a time when computers replace teachers?

I just mentioned something similar in another thread about technology replacing human labor and my point is that it's never going to possible 100%. Yes, COVID showed the world how to function online and make things work but when it comes to education, it's not going to be possible to replace...

    Should teachers have a uniform?

Why in the world would teachers be asked to wear uniforms? Who even comes up with such ideas? It's completely unheard-of and I won't support it at all. So, because students are expected to wear uniforms now someone is arguing that teachers too should wear uniforms? It's absolute madness to ask...

Will self-service take over cashier jobs?

There's a possibility that it's going to affect the cashier jobs but it's never going to be enough to completely replace cashier jobs 100%. There are some things you can't do with using self service. It's like asking if robot will replace human labour 100%, that's never gonna happen.

Should off-topic posts be allowed on the forums?

This is off topic but allow me to go there. I learnt that the hard way in one gaming forum I used to be in called VGR. There was a lady in the forum whom I assumed to be a man and addressed her as such. She picked a serious offense with it and layed in hard on me for doing that. I had to...

Should there be a ban on plastic carrier bags?

Pollution is among the biggest challenges we face every day and it's making the environment turn into a big mess. Even the water life is affected by the rate of pollution we see everyday and the use of plastic bags is contributing so much to that. Whatever the government needs to do in order to...

Should vaccinations in children be compulsory?

Yes of course, vaccinations for children should be made compulsory because it's good for their health and longevity. Although, I will only take an exception to getting COVID vaccination for kids. COVID vaccination for kids is the only one I wouldn't support.

Would you agree to a curfew for children under 16 years old?

With the recent shooting that's going on having kids killed in the streets, I'm very much in support for a curfew because it's going to keep teenagers out of harms way. Ordinarily, no one should be out too late at night. You're not a vampire, you should be at home when it's nightfall.

Do you believe mobile phones should be allowed in schools with rules?

You're not allowed to use smartphone in class during lectures because it's going to be a huge distraction. You're also not allowed smartphone when having any test or exams in order to avoid using them to cheating. It's the way things are done here with having smartphone in school.

    Should voting be made compulsory?

When the voting system is so messed up in my country which have made a lot of people lose interest in exercising their civic rights because the electoral body will end up selecting who paid them more, there's no way it's going to be possible to make voting compulsory. The people won't have it.

Should prison be less of a luxury?

Personally, I believe that prisons should be less of a luxury for those who commit crimes because if they are not suffering well in the prison, there's no need to have them in there. It's called a correction centre or facilities and shouldn't be a place of fun. Imagine giving crime offenders the...
