I feel a lot of the time, the reason why bystanders will not stand up to those who bully is for these very reasons and that is because they tend to be on the bad end of it if it becomes violent and the result is usually this or close to.

It's a shame as so many would love to stand up to bullies but you do run the risk of getting hurt and badly.

Yeah, but that's the price of being a man. I mean, when will someone take a stand? Of course, most people won't.

The peer pressure is another reason for the bullying that occurs. The third party is scared of standing up to it to avoid being bullied and that is the outcome that we see daily. It is a sad one to say the least as the third party should be taken up against bullying.
