Above is the case of a kid, whose dad must have taught him to stand up for troubled kids, who was killed standing up to bullies. Well, this seems to be the exception rather than the norm. Why do you feel bystanders won't help those in trouble?

I feel a lot of the time, the reason why bystanders will not stand up to those who bully is for these very reasons and that is because they tend to be on the bad end of it if it becomes violent and the result is usually this or close to.

It's a shame as so many would love to stand up to bullies but you do run the risk of getting hurt and badly.

Yeah, but that's the price of being a man. I mean, when will someone take a stand? Of course, most people won't.
